Long overdue getting on this board.

Looks good, and good to be here with rest of the "motley" OHVBSAOC crew :P

Well hello Shaun...

Was going to say, my being allowed in here is proof they will let anyone in, but thinking you just trumped me on this point ;)

Yes...TSMR was fantastic and so cool that you and your daughter did the family outing with us up there in the NC clouds.

I am planning to do both TSMR & California next year. Already saving my pennies and contemplating logistics.

Great to see you - last we tipped a pint (or 3) in the same vicinity as one another was IOM, so has been a while.

Jim, as we're BOTH from the South, I guess we'd best stick together..

So I'll let you buy my first beer in California, then I'll be on the Red Wine, don't know what I'll be riding yet, got to sort that out with a Damn Yankee. Still they are good for SOME things..

Keep saving them pennies, you'll be needing a few old chum, and best you take more than a week off as vacation time, think I might just do that myself..?

Shaun lad...I'm on it, the first pennies saved will go to our "Rebs in Cali" beverage fund - ear marking a nice Nor. Cal micro brew for your drinking pleasure. :woohoo:

Also looking forward to some tasty Napa & Sonoma Cabernet's.

This is going to be something like being in Scotland and not knowing which single malts to try...too many good ones, and not enough time to work them all in. Coupled with the dilemma of beer or wine?? This is going to require some serious training. Reckon I will need to busy with my work outs. B)

And....you are so right...going to be a multi-week vacation event for sure.

I too am not sure what I'm going to do for a ride - going to try first to bum one already out there on the left coast. If not successful, going to have to ship one (or 2). Unfortunately I won't have time to ride out, so saving saddle time for the rally rides + what ever we can fit in while there.

Jim, why not have a word with that Yankee who take photos, YOU know the lad I'm on about, so far it's just me and him in his old Jalopy of a truck. With two bikes on the back, but I wager he could fit another one in, and if you want, perhaps even you..?

A week to get there, a week while we're there, and a week to get to Blowing Rock. Just sayin bro.. ;)

As for the wine, I'm getting a few cases from France every week, just to get the taste of it y'all understand...
