Shaun - funny enough I think I know the Yank you refer to. ;)

That other Yank from the same-ish neck of the woods not planning to make Cali? If he's on the fence, reckon it's time to commence with full on shaming and verbal bludgeoning efforts until he's on board.

Thanks for the tip - will see if Yank 1 thinks there is an option to rent some hauling space. Happy to help reduce fuel and trip costs. But....at this point I've got a couple of time demands to manage that may make it easier for me to borrow vs. plan the hauling out or shipping option(s), and that will most likely require me to fly vs. drive. Obviously there are more discussions to have here soon as other looming family things shake out a bit more.

Gotta work on all those open items so I can have my options reduced to only those that can work.

But...with all the uncertainties about the "how-to's" two things are certain. I will be at the rally and the TSMR next year.

Re: French wine - practice makes perfect. :cheer:

Jim lad, make no mistakes here, if I know the 2nd Yank of which ye speak, I'd like to point out he is a TRUE Southerner lad, born and bred, only living with the Yanks on a secret mission...

Don't think he's got the time to enjoy California, so it's just us, at the moment..?

Might I suggest one other thing, the 1st Yank MIGHT be able to take your bike, so if y'all have to fly over or something silly like that, all y'all have to do is meet up, buy the wine, and ride...

Just sayin' bless your little heart...

Regarding Yank #2 reckon I plum forgot about his roots, and I know that boy still has kin here in NC to boot.

Will PM Yank #1 see if he's ok with or has room for - another, soon as I confirm whether I need to bring mine or not, which I will commence to confirm - post haste.

Much obliged for the suggestion.

Jim lad, glad to be of service, think you KNOW what the payment is by now old chum.. :P

Although chatting with that Yankee, I find he's wanting to drive his Chevelle, and if I'm right, I think that's some sort of car..? So be ready for a dissapointment..

Not too worry lad, you'll still owe me that wine..
