:) Hey folks! Well, let's get started! I live in Battle Creek, MI. I own an A65HA. For those unfamiliar, that's a 1967 BSA A65 Hornet-East Coast. I've been to a few rallies with my father, Chuck, and uncle Albert. You might remember us from our dual-engine '66 Lightning dirt drag bike. My main reason for joining this forum, and soon the club, is to get tips, info, advice, etc. on restoring my Hornet to original glory! The frame has been cut and hacked, bent and twisted through its years as a dirt drag racer. The only thing I have that is stock is the bottom splash guard under the engine, the engine cases, the E.T. ignition (less the coils). The frame is original and number-matching to the engine, but it is no longer stock! I'd like to do a hidden needle bearing conversion first. I know this is an East Coast because of the splash shield, the oil tank and frame, the latter being Lightning-style. The West Coast is one of a kind and very rare! Thanks for this club and forum. The only thing that will hold me back or hinder my progress is that stuff I have left over at the end of the paycheck. I think they call that "money"!! LOL!! Hope to see you soon. Aaron.

Sounds like you have a big project on your hands, starting with repairing or replacing your frame. You might have to get another job to pull this one off!

If I replace the frame, will that take away from it's value? Will still be considered stock?
