With less than one week before the Ohio Valley BSA Owners Club's Spring Rally, we're in the final stages of preparation. It was another early start, heading out in the LWT (little white truck) on this Memorial Day weekend.

No sooner got started on arrowing the Reliability Run course than Chad Bell's much-modified XR650L blew a fuse. I would have abandoned him, but Chad got the big boomer up and running again in no time. Note toilet in creek bed behind him. Trash, while nowhere near as much a problem in the old days is nonetheless still to be found out and about. We've left this thing in place as a "course marker". Note also, Chad and I on top of a big culvert that the stream runs through. However, during the RR we'll be going THROUGH the culvert. Wheeee!

Chad and Stevie Szewczyk on one of the RR's twisty pavement sections. Hard to capture in still images, but suffice to say that these little ol' back roads are like paved roller coasters.

Chad & Steve again, negotiating one of the many, many creek crossings on the "Beagle Club Road". Ride the RR just once and you will agree the BCR is one of the best features of the whole course.

Chad rode the RR for the first time last year and has since stepped up to help out, which is EXTREMELY appreciated, as this event is put on by just a handful of people. Many, many hours and much, much effort is required to make it happen.

Finally back at the campgrounds in late afternoon and Stevie is debriefed by OVBSAOC Prez John Schultz (who has been living been LIVING on that mower lately), and VP Bud Kubena
