Wow, I see some really cool things going on there. Looks like it's going to be a ball to ride. Are you going to equip it with street-legal accoutrements, in order to be able to ride it in the Reliability Run????
Never met a motorcycle I didn't like.

I built this bike to be off road only,I have it's step brother (triumph T25T) for the reliability run
here's some details;
back section of top tube (oil tank),seat and fender mounting points removed and some thin wall steel tube brazed in to tie back tubes in to top tube, gussets added for strength
35mm fork tubes and lowers off honda street bike, lowers cleaned up,triple trees off honda XL250,front wheel and brake from kawasaki KDX175 painted black as was the stock rear
right foot peg modified and move to the left side, right side has new mount brazed to frame moving pegs back for better control, brake pedal shorted and reshaped
all unneeded brackets/mounts removed
rear shocks are of unknown mfg. and are longer to change the geometry of the chassis, steering head angle is 25 degrees from 32 stock, leading axle forks help reduce the trail
engine is stock with mikuni carb that I am still sorting out, test ride showed that we are a bit fat
fenders are plastic with a fiberglass section at the lower front of the rear, seat is from a minibike
got some details to work out with gearing, chassis and electrics :S
if this was easy, everyone would do it

here's a bit of an update on this project
after fighting with some old carbs I had around I purchased a 26 mm kehin copy of ebay for $20 new, after rewoking the flange to fit the head I bolted it on and the damn thing started right up and idles down real well, fitted a podtronics reg/rect and the good ol blue capacitor for ignition, starts pretty quick once the cap is charged and seemms to work well, test ride next
still got to tidy up some loose ends but other than being a bit porky it's a pretty neat bike
if this was easy, everyone would do it

I am continually torn between trying to make old carbs work and subbing-in modern ones. I too have struggled mightily with original carbs, only to swap in a $10 swap meet Mikuni and have the bike (finally) fire right up and run like a champ.
Yes, the Avatar image is an actual picture of me - back when I was younger and handsomer.

all 3 of my brits have asian carbs,my T25T has a mikuni, the A65 has a asian knock off(?) of a kehin 2 stroke spigot carb that has a flange mounted to the spigot that is market for use on british bikes which works well on my single carb A65 but not so well on my B25T which has the mention knock off kehin ATV carb
if this was easy, everyone would do it
