Although I have been a member of OVBSAOC for several years I have not had the opportunity to meet many other members, beyond the Kubenas and Sheldon Early whom I knew and rode with several times in the 1950s, if I recall correctly. (In those days I lived in Harrisonburg, VA.) I did make it to your summer rally a couple of years ago and enjoyed the people and beautiful machinery very much.

At the current time I serve as Secretary and Webmaster of the Virginia British Motorcycle Club, your sister organization to the South.

Best wishes to everyone from your friends at VBMC!

Hi, Dick. Thank you so much for joining in. We very much appreciate hearing from you. Please keep us posted to activities and events of the VBMC. We hope to hear from you regularly, and to see you at upcoming OVBSAOC rallies. How about a picture of you and your favorite Brit-bike?

To send a photo of me with my favorite Brit bike would require Sheldon Early's permission, since my all-time favorite bike (Brit or otherwise) is his 1957 Gold Star.

On second thought, a photo of me and my non-functioning junk (a 1972 Bonnie and two 1968 B44s) might be a good thing because it would make everyone else feel better about their own bikes. There is something to be said for being public spirited! If I get a photo I will send it along.

Thanks very much for the warm welcome. I definitely feel among friends here.

I'm sure I can speak for everyone in saying that we enjoy seeing any and all old bikes Dick, especially work-in-progress, or waiting-for-attention. A few years ago I really wanted to participate in a big vintage bike get-together. I knew there was going to be a bunch of really well-done machines there, but I had nothing of this genre, completed, to show. So, I bought out what I did have - a completed frame with front forks, and a very sad, yet to be touched, old survivor. And, wouldn't you know - the frame got its share of attention, but that ratty original was fawned all over. Just goes to show!

So, send in them pichers!

Hi all Mike Coey Sr hear, glad to see we finally have a web site.As many of you know, I have been a member for some time now, & look forward to the fall rally as a chance to bring my collection to Costonia for the weekend. I am taking this winter off, since I have no more room in my 24* trailer to put another bike. I think I will stop at 8.lol
Hope to see all of you this fall. Ride safe Mike
