have a 68 bsa thunderbolt, can someone help me, Please, rear tire wants to move to the right hand side of sing arm, have parts book all parts look to be there,i tighten up axle and have clearance, but after a ride tire is rubbin swingarm,

SOunds like something fishy with the chain adjusters. Do you have any pictures?

Any chance there is a spacer missing or in wrong position? Or, as Clark suggests, chain adjuster(s) are not keeping axle from being pulled forward by drive torque. Adjuster(s) possibly stripped out?
Never met a motorcycle I didn't like.
