Hello,
I have owned a 71 since 75 and brought it back from the dead three times now. I kept it stock the first two times. This last time, the patina stays and I am seeking only to make it a rider. Mechanically sound, don't particularly care what it looks like. Somehow this was originally a Canadian bike. It is equipped with the "home style" 4.8 gallon tank, a speedo in Kilos and the straight bars. Last year, with a great deal of help from a real mechanic, not a hack like me, we got the transmission rebuilt and got it back on the road. Love riding down in Southern Ohio and have spent many hours riding down there on a couple of Guzzi's that I own. I know the Speaker's, but haven't stopped down there for a few years. regards, Michael |

Yes, the Avatar image is an actual picture of me - back when I was younger and handsomer.

Thanks. You all know them well. A favorite ride is 45 south 7 to 213 to 152 to 22A to 22 to 151 back to 152 to 150 to 647 to 7. Then take a lunch break at 7 and 470 area. Last summer I got the BSA down there. Took 147 back to 9 to get home.
Done many, many others down there but I am always open to suggestions for others.
