Hello all,
I just purchased a 1958 B33 and it wet sumps. So I bought a new Hepolite oil pump from CBS, but it does not come with a check valve (the ball bearing at the inlet). CBS said I could reuse the old one from my original pump, but it is a different size, too big. My question is this: do I really need it? As I understand it, the main defense against wet-sumping is the tolerance between the gears. Thanks in advance. |
