Let's hear from you knowledgable BSA historians. What is this thing?
Yes, the Avatar image is an actual picture of me - back when I was younger and handsomer.

BSA Fury and Triumph Bandit were 350 cc OHC twins which didn't get made in the early 1970s. A few were made and I remember hearing one started up in Verralls of Tooting Bec in the UK. It was for sale but I can't remember the price. There is one which is still in common use in Australia. There were show bikes which went around the world prior to production starting. Supposedly these had wooden insides. A friend ordered one after going to the winter show in Wellington NZ. In the UK during the 1970s many shops sold the frames which had been produced in large numbers. They were popular for those building race bikes and everything from 500 T100s to Norton Commando engines were fitted.

There is one in the National Museum near Birmingham home of our favourite marque England.

Same image as you have on the cover (I noticed you had this picture already AFTER posting this message, of course!)

I saw it last year and found it to be a very interesting almost Japanese looking machine - just a little bit late to make much difference for BSA I suppose. I think they may have the Triumph model in the museum there too.

A very interesting-looking engine configuration. Can anyone elaborate on that part of the design?
