Good news, everyone! COUNTY ROAD 56, leading from State Route 7 to Cables Creek Campground, site of the OVBSAOC rallies has REOPENED!

Disregard any information you may have seen posted over the past week or so indicating the need for detours and alternative routes.

See you at the rally!

Now that the month is nearly over, thought I'd leave a comment or two about the Rally.

As some may know, I drove about 1450 miles one way from San Antonio, Texas with my A65 in order to attend. Left on Wednesday and got there on Friday in the early PM, got squared away at the entrance and got set up next to Randy Creel, with some help from Bud Kubena.

The next couple of days was spent checking out the bikes, talking to a few people here and there and helping as an Observer for the Observed Trials with Chris Smith.

Sunday it was time to leave and head home, again a long two and half day drive. All in all, I can say that this was definitely a well put together and run event and worth attending.

The people I met such as Bud and Barb, Clark and Ted made me feel welcome, other attendees were friendly and helpful when needed.

Also, quite a few of the bikes I saw were excellent to look as well as a few rare examples such as James Smith's trials bike along with a Cotton and Reddich Royal Enfield that took part in the Trials.

Would I attend again??? Yes I would, though maybe not every year. Have a BSA Summer Camp in France I want to get to next year as well as the 2020 International Rally in the Czech Republic.
